Telus finally released Samsung OMNIA touchscreen phone in Canada
TELUS has released the Samsung OMNIA touchscreen phone in Canada with attractive offerings. Samsung OMNIA is a cool device, only weighing in at 125 grams with overall dimensions of 112 x 56.9 x 12.5mm. This can do all your mutimedia needs such as pictures/videos with it’s 5 megapixel camera (auto focus, and flash). The Omnia has Samsung’s “Sharepix” that allows you to instantly upload picts to sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Flickr. In addition, the screen is perfect for watching videos, TV or even taking your own vids. Overall it has a 3.2 inch touchscreen (240 x 400 pixels) with an accelerometer that makes it easier to view. It also comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional for all your e-mail needs. In addition, this has a full QWERTY keyboard (touchscreen) plus handwriting recognition and Opera Mobile so it renders web sites as if you would see them on your computer. GPS and the business card reader is a good addition, with this you can simply point the camera over the card and it automatically imports the information into your contact list. Regarding memory: comes with 8GB of internal memory with a staggering capability of holding up to 24GB.
