A new product for the “integrated protection of smartphones running Symbian and Windows Mobile” has been released by Kaspersky Lab. As expected, the security software is to protect against network attacks, malware and SMS spam. Furthermore, if the users loses his or her smartphone, the software lets the user to totally lock the decide or remotely delete the data in it. Also, if a smartphone is stolen, the SIM-Watch function prevents the thief from accessing data on the phone without the original SIM card, and as soon as the original SIM card is replaced, the owner is notified of the new telephone number with a message notification.
