
Google has rolled out several mobile services until now but none of them was designed to work on Windows Mobile 6 devices. However, this needs some changes so, today, the Mountain View company officially introduces a Windows Mobile 6 compatible version of Picasa Web Albums, allowing users to view photos, slideshows or browse the community photos straight from their WM6 gadgets. Enlarge pictureAnd like this wouldn’t be enough, Google has also introduced offline support for Picasa Web Albums, which means all the users of the service are able to access their content even without an Internet connection. As usual, this function works with the help of Google Gears, a special Google technology which has already been implemented in other services such as Google Reader and Google Calendar. Simply nice.
