
Seems like the watch phone are getting popular. And another prime example will be Epoq EGP-WP98B, produced by Epoq Multimedia. Epoq EGP-WP98B is the very first such device that operates with wondows mobile. Its WM version is 5.0, and although it can’t possibly run on it like on a normal smartphone or Pocket PC, it does run somehow, and thats what makes the Epoq EGP-WP98B stand out from other watch phones. Besides the unusual interface, the Epoq EGP-WP98B phone watch also offers some features that we can’t find in too many gadgets of this kind. Epoq EGP-WP98B features the following:
- An ARM926 processor at 266 MHz
- 128MB of RAM
- A 512MB memory card that can be replaced with an 1GB one
- Quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 /1900 MHz) with GPRS
- An 1.45 inch display with handwriting recognition,
- Wi-Fi,Bluetooth, Media player with support for MP3, MP4, WMV, AVI and 3GP, plus an 1.3 Megapixel photo camera.
- Epoq EGP-WP98B supports MSN and Skype, as well as 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Arabic
- Dimensions and weight were not announced, but it’s obviously the device is very small if compared to an ordinary cell phone.
The phone watch can come with two types of wristbands, at customer’s choice: a stainless steel or a leather one. And just incase you want to buy Epoq EGP-WP98 you can find it at several online retailers for around $600 starting the 25th of April. ANd if you get one of those then let us know.
