
The new kids on the Windows Mobile block, E-Ten have unveiled a couple of new Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional equipped QWERTY sliders that will definitely turn some heads. After Acer’s purchase of E-Ten, it seems that the Glofish M750 and M810 are ready to serve as the company’s star WinMo smartphones.
The new devices work with E-Ten’s trusted horizontal sliding design and feature a QWERTY keyboard tucked in beneath the display. Both devices pack in features that ought to make them stand toe-to-toe with the best Windows Mobile devices out there. Look for quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) radio, WiFi (802.11 b/g), GPS (integrated into Google Maps), Bluetooth 2.0, 256MB ROM and a Samsung S3C processor clocked at 500MHz, a 2 megapixel camera and a 2.8-inch touchscreen display all crammed into a device that measures 109.5 x 59 x 17.5mm.
The higher-end Glofish M810 is set apart from the M750 by the fact that the M810 contains HSDPA radio while the M750 has to make do with EDGE.
The two devices will probably be shipped globally within two to three weeks. Prices ought to be available soon.
