Due to the guys at the Sony Ericsson Blog, we now know that Sony Ericsson is getting set to unveil a new mid range clamshell handset, the Z780. This is what we know at the moment:
- The main display is a 240 x 320 pixel QVGA
- The browser is NetFront 3.4
- XML profiles found on the Sony Ericsson WAP site suggest two versions: Z780a for North America and Z780i for Europe
- The phone is available in two paintjobs – Grand Onyx and Amethyst Silver
- It looks quite a bit like the Z770i
At this point the release date is not known. Watch this space….
