RIM and MySpace announce record download numbers

MySpace and Research In Motion (RIM) today announced record download numbers of the MySpace for BlackBerry smartphones application in its first week of availability. Since the application’s launch on November 13, 2008 there have been more than 400,000 downloads which represents an all-time high for both MySpace and RIM in terms of first week application downloads.
