Oxygen Software have come out with a new version of their Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS smartphones. The new version includes support for the Sony Ericsson W960i and the Nokia E51. The new version (version 2.17) also comes with support for the Nokia N77, Nokia 5700 and the Nokia 6290. Other improvements in the new version include:
- Messaging. A problem with restoring messages and their dates from a backup file has been fixed.
- Export, Options. A new option has been added. “Use old export formats” will allow non template export mode back.
- Connectivity, Options. A new option has been added. “Outgoing PC-to-phone Bluetooth connection” will configure your PC as a Bluetooth client and the phone as the Bluetooth server.
- Gallery. M4A files now have enhanced support.
All registered consumers – including anyone who bought the Box version of Oxygen Phone Manager – can download the new version now from their personal pages by making use of the link provided in the registration confirmation page.
