Californian Skyfire announced a new downloadable mobile browser that should make web browsing on a smartphone equal to surfing on a real computer. This browser facilitates full Ajax and Flash to help it bring the “real Web” experience. Skyfire is of the opinion that with their software, users will be able to browse sites like YouTube, MySpace and Last.fm at record speeds in their handsets. Also users will not be required to change the way they surf the Internet, since the new browser will allow them “to access the same Web content, and interact with that content, exactly as they do on their PC.” The company also states that soon their browser will support the Symbian platform.
