In IPJ-R01 (Raijing) and IPJ-F01 (Fujin) you’ll find a tapcounter, cue-button, pitch control and a BPM-display that once the asset is tapcounter is switched on. These apps are also Shake Sampleres: shake the iPhone back and forth and you will hear the preprogrammed sound. You can also different sounds for shaking in a certain direction. It is not yet known if these DJ tools wil be available. The developer uses the iPhone SDK, so it is almost certain that they are referred to the App Store.

I’m not sure how good these two programs are, i think the iPhone is capable of far more sopisticated DJing apps, and these seem more like games than actual portable DJing programs, which seems a shame as the iPhone would be a fairly decent platform to work something like ableton, tracktor or a sampler, seems a bit of a step back really.
