According to Jung Il-Jae, LG’s Chief Executive, LG is looking for an “open-standard software platform” for their future 3G data services. Along with a number of other forms, Google has come up to the plate and have tried to woo LG into choosing their platform. Right now LG produces S60 and Windows Mobile devices, so perhaps they could add another platform to their portfolio.
