
Perhaps the best bit of software written for mobile devices in recent times, the Opera Mini has been ported to Android, the operating system by Google. The process was quite easy. The original Opera Mini code base was taken and a wrapper was used to translate J2ME API calls into Android API calls. A fella known as MicroEmulator was responsible for this open-source wrapper. He also happens to be the lead developer for Opera Mini for Android.
