It seems that Vodafone were not content with offering just the Samsung F700, the snazzy slider with a QWERTY keyboard. They are now offering the F490. The phone is basically an F700 without the keyboard. For that sacrifice you get a better 5 megapixel camera and a whole host of other the other standard features. You will get the Croix UI, microSD slot, HSDPA and stereo Bluetooth. The best part is that you can snap this up for free with a 30 GBP per month contract. Remember though that you get 50% off for the initial 3 months which means that you start off paying 15 GBP per month.
