While US Windows Mobile users were recently struck by the bad news that there will be no HTC Touch HD for them, Samsung is ready to step into the breach. After much confusion a Samsung Omnia with AT&T 3G frequencies has finally been approved by the FCC. The device, code-named i900L, features the 850 and 1900 frequencies, and is clearly the Omnia based on the very nondescript FCC picture. There is still no information on the date of release. Read the FCC documentation here.
