About a month or so back we came across info about six upcoming Samsung phones. One of the phones we came across was the L870 smartphone. Credit goes to mobile.cz for now giving us more information regarding that device.
The device looks seem rather recognizable, leading us to think that this is the first Soul smartphone. To be honest, we don’t notice a haptic-feedback display at the bottom of the phone, however besides that there are quite a few similarities. The L870 will come with Symbian 9.3 and with S60 3.2 (Feature pack 2) on top of it. Other features include tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900), 2100 UMTS, a 2.3 inch 260K color screen, 3.6Mbs HSDPA connectivity, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth, microSD memory slot and a 3 megapixel camera for taking photos and front VGA camera for video calls. No idea yet about WiFi nor GPS.
Regarding the release date, Samsung are apparently officially announcing the device during Communic Asia in Singapore on the 17th of June. Watch this space…
