Samsung Electronics Canada and Rogers Wireless announced yesterday the joint-launch of the so called “Samsung Jack”; in the U.S. better known as the Samsung BlackJack II or Samsung SGH-i616. The Samsung Jack, is available now exclusively from Rogers Wireless (and already sold out) and is packed full with power and functionality for all things business while laced with rich entertainment features for media junkies. Jacked up with a wide selection of entertainment options, users can listen to music, play games and view video clips on the go. With its 2.0 megapixel camera and stereo Bluetooth, the Samsung Jack can satisfy the needs of just about any media junkie. With a full QWERTY keypad and the instant messaging capabilities users can easily stay connected with friends and family while on the run. Weighing 115 grams, and equipped with a 320 x 240 pixel color display, it looks as good as it performs. The Samsung Jack currently sells for CAD$ 199.99 based on any 3-year activation on a Voice plan, CAD$ 40 or greater and an E-Mail plan that is CAD$ 40 or greater, and/or any Voice and E-Mail package that is CAD$ 75 or greater.
