TomTom has announced that version 1.3 of the TomTom iPhone app has been submitted for consideration to the App Store. The updates include TomTom HD Traffic for real-time traffic speed and incident reports, and Local Search powered by Google The much welcome real-time traffic updates is finally available on version 1.3, but it will cost users an additional $19.99 to get the feature – something that’s usually offered for free on other apps.

List of changes include:-

*Music Fading- Instead of music pausing, it fades when navigation is spoken

T-Mobile USA has announced that its first HSPA+ laptop dongle, the webConnect Rocket USB Laptop Stick, will be available starting March 14 for $100 after rebates with new agreement.

Their New Plan offering include Even More webConnect data plan, which requires a two-year contract, and get 5GB for $60 per month or 200MB for $30 per month. Those wishing to avoid contracts can select the Even More Plus webConnect data plan, which costs $50 per month for 5GB or $20 per month for 200MB. All plans have overage charges costing $0.20 per megabyte.

Vodafone will be soon launching its own handset called Vodafone 845 which will be the first Android smartphone among those. The Vodafone 845 will run on the latest Android 2.1 and will be bundled with Vodafone 360 service. The Vodafone 845 will be quite cheap: only €150. But that’s because it’s not a high-end smartphone.

It will have a resistive 2.8-inch QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, and HSDPA connectivity. The handset has 512MB of internal memory.Vodafone 845 will come with the Vodafone 360 service offering you 1GB free data traffic monthly.

This phone is built to military specifications to survive extreme shock, water and dust environments. Push to Talk gives you quick access to contacts to get the job done efficiently.

Tthe Casio Brigade is a rugged horizontal clamshell with a full QWERTY keyboard and two displays: a 2.9 inch WQVGA internal one, and a 1.2 inch, 128 x 90 pixels external one. The Casio Brigade C741 has a “solid build quality” and features Push-to-talk, Bluetooth and a camera with LED flash.
