AdvanceTec Industries today announced that it has released for distribution the AdvanceMobile VX1, a in-vehicle mobile phone solution. The AdvanceMobile VX1 can be activated on any GSM wireless carrier worldwide and is designed to assist businesses with a mobile workforce comply with hands-free legislation, to control ballooning communication costs by providing hands-free communication to pre-programmed numbers and to prohibit text messaging completely.

The commercial-grade AdvanceMobile VX1 provides full-duplex voice quality and a palm microphone* can be used to replicate the experience of using a two-way radio or to overcome loud, in-cabin noise. The VX1 is GPS enabled and gives fleet managers the capability to track mobile assets and provides geofencing, vehicle speed notification and one button emergency notification features. The AdvanceMobileGPS**, a web-based application, provides GPS vehicle tracking for a small monthly charge.

The AdvanceMobile VX1 uses Motorola GSM Quad Band technology and requires only a GSM SIM card and activation with a GSM carrier.
