Paid Content is reporting exclusively on alleged chatter that Nokia and Facebook are working on securing a partnership. Facebook is working hard on pushing ever more deeply into the mobile market, and if Paid Content’s claims are true, Nokia phones will be receiving a nice FB-sanctioned button on their screens that will direct handset owners to the popular social network. PC is also saying Nokia will receive a stake in Facebook, adding to the social network’s funding gathered from the likes of Microsoft and the Sawmer Brothers. While this story might be fit for the designation of “rumor,” there does seem to be something cooking over at the phone maker and social network.
