Hydrogen Fuel Cell tested on Motorola Phone
January 14, 2008 | tana | Comments 0

Amazingly, the device was no larger than normal even though the fuel cell was added on to the device as a permanent replacement. This is especially helpful for users because the hydrogen batteries tested take 10 minutes to recharge, in contrast to the recharging time on regular rechargeable cell phone batteries which span hours on end. Angstrom’s batteries are only prototypes for now, but the firm plans on a full scale production set up by 2010. Check back for more updates.
