3G, A-GPS Motorola Z9 is on sale at ATT website

It was first revealed last week, and AT&T today began offering the MOTO Z9. The handset is Motorola’s slider equivalent to the RAZR2 V9 and shares most of the features of the flip phone, including its access to the carrier’s HSPA-based 3G data network. AT&T notes that the Z9 is the first of its phones to support AT&T Navigator, a rebranded version of TeleNav that offers assisted GPS for driving directions. The faster data access also allows access to streaming Internet music and videos. While the new phone sports the same media player and microSD storage of the RAZR2, the official debut reveals that Motorola has reduced the specs of the Z9 versus the flip, supplying it with a 1.3-megapixel camera in place of the 2-megapixel sensor found on the RAZR2. AT&T reflects this in the price of the handset, which sells for $150 with a two-year plan or $350 contract-free.
