After the official announcement of LG Secret (KF750), the slimmest 5 Megapixel slider ever created, LG reveales the news of LG Prada II. It seems LG is set to become the first brand when it comes to fashionable mobile phones and so far so good.
LG Prada II (or LG Prada 2, although the first name version looks better) will apparently bring more advanced features and even more style than the original Prada. According to the Taiwanese news site Sina, Prada II will feature a 3 inch TFT touchscreen with 400 x 240 pixels, quad-band GSM connectivity and dual-band 3G with HSDPA for data transfer speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi, a 5 Megapixel camera, Audio and Video players, TV-out, FM Radio, full HTML browser, email, Instant Messaging, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0 and microSD card support for up to 8GB. Moreover, the Prada II will pack a full QWERTY sliding keyboard – a great addition compared to the first Prada, which lacks a hardware keypad and allows users to input data only via its touchscreen. Buyers of the new Prada will also receive exclusive Prada accessories, but there are no details about what exactly these are. Unfortunately, there is no image of Prada II available, so we can’t say if indeed it looks better than the first Prada. Anyway, it will probably be a bit thicker than the original phone (which is 12 mm slim), since it packs a full QWERTY keyboard.
LG Prada II is expected to hit the market during the end of 2008. The handset’s price is not known at the moment, but you really want to know then our best educated guess would be , around $1000. Wow, thats a lot of money.
