Texters celebrates as LG Scoop is made available on Alltel

It’s finally official. With an appropriate contract, AT&T customers can have small Palm OS-based Centro smartphone for $99. Just like the European version, Centro lacks 3, thus disappointing those who were looking forward to have some mobile “HSDPA fun.” Users will have to rely upon the EDGE “speeds.” It will be available in 2 color schemes, “Glacier White” and “Obsidian Black,” and therefore if you don’t intend to change carriers, here’s the AT&T page containing further information. Otherwise, the much faster version. Two colors are available — “Glacier White” and “Obsidian Black” — so if you’re really that much into Centro and don’t want to switch your carrier, here’s the link to the AT&T’s page with more information. Else, fans of Centro may go the “Sprint way,” where they can utilize the much faster EV-DO version.
