Philips Xenium X810 touchscreen quadband cellphone leaked
Another Philips Xenium touchscreen quadband GSM cellphone has leaked, marking a change in design direction for the company. The new Philips Xenium X810 comes around with a TFT touchscreen display that is able to provide a 240 x 400 pixel resolution, as well as support for 262K colors and what looks to be a panel of touch-sensitive buttons underneath, together with a 3.2-megapixel camera with flash. . In addition, the new device also includes a navigation pad that could also include touch-sensitive features. Unfortunately there’s no 3G connectivity: the Xenium X810 tops out at EDGE data, and WiFi seems to be another omission, at least from the specifications we currently have. What you do get is Bluetooth, USB and a microSD card slot to augment the internal 45MB storage. The device measures 104 x 52 x 14.4 mm and weighs 100 grams, and Philips have obviously been flexing their power-saving muscles in the X810’s direction as it will apparently manage up to one full month of standby time.
It seems that it might first see the sunlight in China, where it could replace the X800, yet no specific information on the release date of the new mobile phone is available at the moment.
