Cricket Communications today introduced the new Cricket CAPTR (pronounced kap-chur) to its mobile device lineup. Continuing the feature and price innovation initiated by the Cricket A100, the Cricket CAPTR features a zoom-enabled VGA camera, making it one of the most affordable camera flip phones on the market today. The new Cricket CAPTR, which measures 3.54 x 1.81 x 0.74, is available now at Cricket retail stores and dealers for the price of $129.99.
The Cricket CAPTR offers customers additional features including Bluetooth, voice activated dialing, along with text and picture messaging. The device comes ready with Mobile Web, Cricket Games and Applications, and a customizable Cricket MyHomeScreen, which allows customers to add and remove widgets and gives them quick access to their account information or favorite internet content at no additional charge.
Additional features and services included in the CAPTR are an internal and external color display, convenience link from the contact list for MyBackup, and long battery life of up to 250 hours of standby time and up to 5 hours of talk time.
