Nuance Communications today announced its Voicemail to Text platform is powering the recently launched AT&T Voicemail to Text service. The service converts English and Spanish language wireless voicemail messages to text and delivers them via SMS, email or both, providing convenience and flexibility in how subscribers access, file and reply to mobile voicemail.
“Our service was built with carriers like AT&T and their subscribers in mind – an incredibly reliable and scalable voicemail to text infrastructure, and a valuable and easy-to-use service for mobile consumers,” said Michael Thompson, senior vice president, Nuance Mobile.
Designed to address today’s dynamic communications requirements, Nuance’s Voicemail to Text platform is optimized for carriers and delivers innovative messaging capabilities. Nuance’s platform leverages a deep research and technology base, including Dragon Naturally Speaking, the world’s leading speech recognition engine, and the company’s comprehensive hosted transcription services.
