Mpowerplayer has revealed that it has gone past a landmark of 12 million mobile game demos, played by more than a million users. Consumers have warmed to Mpowerplay’s PC-centered try and buy storefront policy.

The PR mentions:

We’ve brought the iTunes approach to mobile gaming,” said CEO Michael Powers. “Now everyone can easily find and try mobile games right from the comfort of their PC.”

Mpowerplayer’s concept is to let users browse and play mobile games on their PC before making a purchase. They also brought in a bit of social networking by allowing users to share their favorite picks.
