A solution for those who have cardiovascular disease. The H’ andy sana 210 is a mobile phone that includes an application called “Heart Suite”. This allow a person to take their Electrocardiogram (ECG) instantly from anyplace and send it to the hospital or doctor for interpretation. H’ andy sana 210 has a 2.8 inch full touch screen and full-fledged mobile phone capabilities including multimedia suite, Internet browser, calendar, built-in camera with screen viewfinder and dedicated menus. It offers health suite services to store data like blood pressure, cholesterol , blood glucose  and ECG monitoring. 

The user needs only to press two fingers on the phone’s edges for 30 seconds for the phone to pick up, record and save their ECG reading wich can then be transmitted from the mobile phone to the doctor. Additionally they can record and save other data such as blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol.

The recorded information and data are transmitted from the phone to a specific medical center for interpretation and monitoring by a staff of expert cardiologists that will then advise the patient immediately if their condition requires immediate attention or not.

The H’ andy sana 210 enable patients to monitor their health situation on their own, which facilitates their work and leisure activities. Patients can report their health data from any location.The H’ andy sana 210 is simple and easily integrated into persons daily life.The H’ andy sana 210 is “Your” life assurance for use any time, and anyplace.

In the UK, there are millions of heart patients who in the future will be able to carry out an ECG using their H’andy sana 210 mobile phone, wherever they are. The official launch is planned for August 2010. The ECG is transmitted via GPRS (network access) to a telemedical centre and the patient receives an answer immediately. At critical moments, this function of the H’andy sana can save the lives of many people.

For doctors, it is the chance to move to a modern touch screen mobile phone and to be able to perform and record simultaneously the ECG data during a home visit. This version will be available in the spring for physicians.

MMB has exclusivity for the market launch in Europe and is now starting to set up collaborative arrangements with hospitals, providers of telemedicine services and telephone companies. The H’andy sana 210 mobile phone will be available on the market from August in the UK.

A limited number of devices using the English language are now available for customers to test.
