After a rather agonizingly long wait punctuated by delays, AT&T may finally be ready to launch their mobile TV service on May 4. The new service can not seem to get launched soon enough with the Samsung Access set to tango with AT&T’s MediFLO-powered Mobile TV service.
We have heard through the grapevine that AT&T plans on launching the new with a three-level configuration. The lowest and cheapest “Limited” package will cost $13 each month and will get you NBC, NBC News, CBS and Fox. The “Basic” package for $15 will add MTV, Nickelodeon, ESPN, CNN Mobile, Sony Pictures and Comedy Central to the Limited package’s offering. Besides all this it seem that AT&T is revving up to offer a market-leading MEdia Net/cellular video/ mobile TV package with the “Plus” package. The package will set you back $30 a month and will add unlimited MEdia Net and cellular video to the Basic package’s offerings.
