HBO (Home Box Office) and Bell Mobility of Canada have gotten together recently and have unveiled an exclusive partnership to deliver HBO content to mobile phones. The new service, which is on-demand in nature, will let subscribing users get their hands on full episodes of HBO series as well as wallpapers, ringtones and very soon, mobile games.
Bell’s HBO content will include access to programs like Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Sex and the City, Tell Me You Love Me, Flight of the Conchords and The Sopranos. Also included are bonus footage, stand-up comedy, trailers and promotional previews.
The program episodes will be available in accompaniment with home video releases. The service will be launched in English and the service will be available dubbed in French starting in May. The service will be available on a large spectrum of phones including the LG Muziq, LG 385 and the Samsung Carbon.
