
In an announcement, the mobile division of Google AdSense said that they are launching mobile image ads which would still be priced on a cost per click basis, but can also boot as a branding tool for advertisers. It has been reported that they have good click-through rates. Mobile Publishers who are interested will have to update their AdSense code to begin displaying mobile ads with images on their sites. The supported banner sizes include 4 dimensions: 305×64, 215×34, 192×53, and 167×30 pixels. Mobiles ads are available in the follows countries currently: Australia, China, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, the UK, and the US.
