Vodafone and RIM Launch the New BlackBerry Bold 9700 Smartphone in Spain
Vodafone and Research In Motion (RIM) today launched the BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone in Spain. The new BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone offers global 3G connectivity and includes an extensive array of high end communications and multimedia features in a compact and highly refined design that will appeal to customers for both professional and personal use. The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is now available from Vodafone in Spain as a part of the “Vodafone Business Edition” range.
Vodafone Spain offers the BlackBerry solution with flat-rate tariffs that include unlimited Internet access, instant messaging and email, allowing Vodafone customers to keep control of their costs at all times.
Flat Rates
The Vodafone tariffs available for the BlackBerry Bold 9700 are:
- BlackBerry Internet Service users – at €15/ month1 which allows the users incoming and outgoing email and attachments from up to 10 supported POP3 or IMAP4 accounts as well as unlimited Internet browsing and access to applications.
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server users – at €25/ month1 which offers advanced security and IT administration within IBM Lotus Domino, Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise environments.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 will be available from €19 for new customers2 signing up to either the BlackBerry Internet Service flat-rate tariff or the BlackBerry Enterprise Server flat-rate tariff.
