StarHub today announced that it will launch the first prepaid data plan for BlackBerry service in Singapore tomorrow. Called BlackBerry Prepaid, the plan will allow StarHub’s prepaid customers to enjoy the benefits of using a BlackBerry smartphone to stay connected with their business and personal contacts through email and access a host of mobile data services.

The new prepaid plan allows users to enjoy the flexibility of pay-as-you-use and no-contract BlackBerry service on a short-term basis,” said Mr Chan Kin Hung, StarHub’s Head of Products and Solutions.
The new BlackBerry prepaid plan will be offered to retail and corporate customers.
To get started with prepaid BlackBerry service , customers can activate three days, seven days or 30 days on a new or existing StarHub Mobile prepaid SIM card. StarHub’s prepaid SIM cards can be purchased at all StarHub Shops and authorised dealers.
In addition to the prepaid service plan, StarHub also offers two other prepaid data products to cater to the data usage needs of its prepaid customers: Prepaid mobile broadband for users who access the Internet wirelessly from a laptop, and prepaid bundled data service for those with heavy data usage via handsets.
