A short while back we discovered that Verizon will release the Samsung U940 aka Glyde, on May 9. It seems now that the Glyde won’t be alone on launch day. Accompanying it will be the BlackBerry Curve 8330, which Verizon are set to make available on that day.

Unveiled at this year’s CTIA, this Curve packs an EV-DO radio which will let you do carry out push-emailing much more quickly. Also you will feel a boost of speed when you browse the net or when using some web-based services.

The price is $269.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a new two year customer agreement. However you could end up saving another $100 if you sign up for the “qualifying voice and data plan” during the time of purchase.
