Back in October last year, Steve Jobs promised, via a post on the Apple website, that the company would release a software development kit for the iPhone and iPod touch.  One Apple site also reports that the company that does the television at Apple events is hiring for a big event later in the month, while two other blogs are talking-up an event scheduled for 26th February. As well as the expected SDK, Penryn-based MacBook Pros with multi-touch trackpads have been hotly tipped to launch very soon (in February), while a 3G iPhone is also rumoured after this week’s news that AT&T are rolling out more 3G coverage in the States.
