iPhone 3G Might Go Red right before Christmas
Because the iPhone 3G, unlike the first-generation iPhone, comes in a plastic case and the color red is the symbol for our december holydays,Apple might consider making a red version of its new iPhone 3G. Also, you might already know about the (PRODUCT) RED campaign – Apple is selling red iPods (both shuffle and nano) and parts of the revenue is given to Global Fund, which raises money to fight AIDS in African countries. So there you have it, another reason to make red iPhone 3Gs. So far, nothing from Apple (yet) to confirm the future existence of red iPhones. But rumors say that the Cupertino-based company will start selling iPhone 3Gs in the new color before Christmas. Now all we can do is wait for a red confirmation to come from Apple.
