AT&T has announced that it will launch Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) for iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS starting on September25. MMS will be enabled through a iPhone software update on that day and iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users can send and receive MMS messages.The software update will be distributed through iTunes. AT&T said the service has taken months to prepare because it wanted to offer the “best possible experience.” It has taken steps to strengthen its MMS delivery systems to handle what it believes will be a “record volume of MMS traffic.”
