Alltel Wireless Announces Unlimited My Circle and Mobile-to-Mobile Messaging on $79.99+ Calling Plans

Alltel Wireless has once again enhanced its “My Circle” plans. Now Alltel customers with My Circle plans $79.99 and higher will automatically get unlimited text, video and picture messaging to their My Circle numbers as well as to all other Alltel Wireless customers. In addition, family lines attached to a $79.99 or higher plan will qualify for unlimited My Circle and mobile-to-mobile messaging, regardless of whether or not the customer has purchased an Alltel Message Pack.

Alltel continues to be the only major wireless carrier to offer 2-year postpaid handset pricing with 1-year contracts, creating enhanced flexibility and greater choice for customers. In addition, Alltel recently added The BlackBerry Tour 9630 and HTC Snap smartphones, and the Samsung Freeform (SCH-r351), to its handset lineup.

The BlackBerry Tour 9630 smartphone is available for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, while the stylish and functional HTC Snap is available for $79.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate. Alltel customers can also get the Samsung Freeform in teal and red for $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. The special pricing for each phone is available with activation of a qualifying 1-year service contract.

The new unlimited My Circle and mobile-to-mobile messaging offer and 1-year contract option are available only to customers in the 91 cellular market areas (CMAs) that Verizon Wireless is required to divest, which will continue to operate as Alltel Wireless until the sale agreements with AT&T and Atlantic Tele-Network are approved by the Department of Justice and Federal Communications Commission.
